Ben. Parliament. Westminster Abbey. Tea and Crumpets. Welcome to LONDON! During
Fall Break of 2016, students in grades ten and eleven will have the opportunity
to travel with EF (Education First) Tours on the Curtain Time in London tour, which will allow us to experience life
“across the pond,” where cookies are biscuits and fries are chips.
Departing early October, our students (and parents, grandparents, favorite aunts, etc.) will travel for five to seven days to London, England, where we will discover famous landmarks such as Picadilly Circus, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and Buckingham Palace. We will also experience the birthplace of the world’s greatest playwright, William Shakespeare, in his home of Stratford, attend two (or three) West End theater performances, and spend a day touring the Globe Theater, where students will take part in interactive lectures and learn about the inner workings of the famous playhouse, built to replicate the original which existed during the reign of Elizabeth I. History, Literature, Theater, Geography, and Art all come to life in real time as we trek through Curtain Time in London. |
