Cheerleading
Here at Emmanuel, we believe that students should have the opportunity to be involved in sports. We try vigorously to give each sport its proper importance while keeping academics first priority. We do this with an understanding that God has given us the ability to play sports and that only through Him can we achieve our fullest potential. To help with this mission our coach staff enforces an academics first policy on the courts, meaning if the students is not performing in the classroom, they will not play on the court.
Cheerleading is available to our middle and high school girls and has been a strong force on the court for several years. Our cheerleaders are part of the Fellowship of Christian Cheerleaders and the Panhandle Christian Conference. The cheer squad takes annual camps in the summer and have made it to the FCC national competition several years bringing home the trophy two years in a row. The squad is working tirelessly to get better and be a supportive influence on and off the court. |
