Boys Basketball
Here at Emmanuel, we believe that students should have the opportunity to be involved in sports. We try vigorously to give each sport its proper importance while keeping academics first priority. We do this with an understanding that God has given us the ability to play sports and that only through Him can we achieve our fullest potential. To help with this mission our coach staff enforces an academics first policy on the courts, meaning if the students is not performing in the classroom, they will not play on the court.
Both our boys and girls have the opportunity to play basketball at Emmanuel. Our boy’s teams are made up of Middle and High school boys who form a Junior Varsity and Varsity team. These teams play in the Panhandle Christian Conference and teams throughout the Wiregrass region. The teams have had great success in the past couple of years. Our Varsity boys have advanced to the final four in our conference while our Junior Varsity has had an undefeated season and a conference championship.
