Girls BasketballHere at Emmanuel, we believe that students should have the opportunity to be involved in sports. We try vigorously to give each sport its proper importance while keeping academics first priority. We do this with an understanding that God has given us the ability to play sports and that only through Him can we achieve our fullest potential. To help with this mission our coach staff enforces an academics first policy on the courts, meaning if the students is not performing in the classroom, they will not play on the court.
Both our boys and girls have the opportunity to play basketball at Emmanuel. The girls team is made up of middle and high school girls who form a Junior Varsity and Varsity team and has had strong growth in the past year. Our girls are developing into strong players as well as exceptional young ladies. They have made it through to the final four in the conference several times and look forward to even stronger seasons. |
