What a blessing at the school today when there was a total of 140 shoe boxes collected for OCC. This is far above our goal and we are just excited to know what God can do with the sacrifices our school family made. We have one last thing to ask of you for OCC. As I said we had 140 boxes turned in, but only shipping donations for 100. We are asking for you to consider donating the needed $280 to complete the shipping requirements of these gifts. You are a blessing and we thank each and every one of you.

ECSPO
SCRIP is the perfect fundraiser to financially benefit the school without taking extra money out of your pocket. Please stay involved. Remember, all SCRIP profit goes into the building fund.

Boston Butt/Rib order information is coming home today. Filled orders will be ready for pickup on November 6.
We still have a limited supply of Spirit Cards for sale. They may be purchased through the school office for $10 each.

Thank you to the parents who have either sent their family photos to us via email (daycare@emmanuelchristian.org) or put up with Mr. Cordes and his camera. These photos will be used for identification purposes when your child is being picked up. If you would like to see your child's information, please stop by the office. Also, retakes of the photos are allowed.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
As I shared with you at open house, we are making plans to add five more classrooms and a new music room to the facility before the beginning of the 2009-2010 school year. Our desire is to complete this debt free, and we know it can be accomplished with your help. At the end of last year, ECSPO mad a $10,000 donation to the building fund and they have added another $8,470 from the profit of this years Spirit Card fundraiser. Adding the ECSPO donations and other parent donations received this month to the previous balance in the building fund, the September balance is now $78.570. Although we have a long way to go, we are confident that the Lord's faithfulness will provide each step of the way. Remember, donations made to Emmanuel Christian School are tax deductible.
